The History of Brite Music

Brite Music, a company built around products created by Janeen Brady, was founded in 1978 by Ted and Janeen Brady. After having written a variety of music over many years, Janeen began publishing some of her works in the 1970’s. These works were initially sold to the public through retail book and music stores and met with great success.

Due to the determined marketing efforts by Ted and with Janeen's continued writing, more and more people began to recognize the quality and value of Janeen's works. Ted and Janeen began to realize there were greater opportunities for exposure through a direct marketing approach. As a result, they removed their products from retail stores and launched a multilevel marketing plan.

Brite experienced phenomenal growth over the next decade. During that time Janeen was actively composing and writing new material. This constant expansion of the product line was a key to the growth of the company. Brite Music products were reaching the homes of tens of thousands of children.

Janeen Brady and Brite Music became known for uplifting, enriching songs that taught positive characteristics; children were listening because they wanted to, and parents were happy to play the albums. Those children who "grew up on Brite" are now having their own children. These new parents want Brite Music to be a part of their child's life just like it was a part of theirs.

Now Brite Music is experiencing new growth as a new generation of kids are experiencing the wonderful music of Janeen Brady.
